Twill Linen Bento Pouch
Twill Linen Bento Pouch
Introducing our luxury eco-printed twill/linen bento pouch. Handmade with care in our Dublin studio, each pouch is adorned with eco-printed patterns from flowers grown from seed in our dye garden and weeping willow leaves foraged from Dublin’s historic canals. Fully lined with Irish linen for added durability, these bags are as practical as they are beautiful.
Staying true to our brand's ethos, we are committed to using only natural fibers, crafting fully biodegradable pieces that leave no harm on the environment. Drawing inspiration from the minimalist elegance of the Japanese bento bag, we designed this range of pouches to stay securely closed without the need for hardware, such as zippers often made from synthetic fibers, ensuring your cherished items remain safe and stylishly contained.
These multi-purpose bento pouches can be used for a multitude of items and trinkets:

Care Instructions
Please keep in mind that a little more care and attention is required for keeping your naturally dyed product looking its best. Consider airing over washing and if laundering is required, do so as infrequently as possible. Hand-wash in cold water using a pH neutral eco friendly detergent, such as Ecover. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry and do not dry clean.
Natural Dye Characteristics
You may notice some ‘inconsistencies’ in the colours of your plant dyed products. When using natural dyes, we must embrace the idea that nothing in nature is perfect and enjoy these unique and characterful ’imperfections.’ All pigments, including synthetic, fade over time. Looking after your product as outlined in our care instructions, will prolong this. A great deal of work goes into the process of natural dyeing and important steps are taken to create long lasting, beautiful colours. The fabric is first scoured to remove any oils or waxes that could block the dye from penetrating the fabric. Then the fibre is soaked for many hours in various mineral baths so that the dye can attach itself effectively to the fabric, creating a more colourfast garment. Once the desired colour is achieved, the fabric is then laundered. We have spent years researching all the best colour giving plants and only use the most suitable dyes for our garments to guarantee longevity.
You will find that there is a much more substantial beauty in the varying shade of a naturally dyed product than in the soulless hues of synthetic dyes. We encourage you to embrace this living colour and gracefully age together.
